Doyle KeeDoyle was born in Oklahoma and raised in Texas. In 1958, he and Barbara Ethridge were married. He received his B.A. and M.A. from Harding. Doyle also earned the Diplome de Theologie Moderne (bachelor of divinity) from the University of Geneva. Barbara earned her B.A. in Music from Harding University.Doyle began preaching while in school at Harding. After graduation, he preached at congregations in Arkansas and New York. In 1970, after working in French-speaking campaigns in Montreal and Paris, the Kees moved to Geneva, Switzerland to plant a church there. By 1989, that congregation was self-supporting.

They have published multiple books & magazines in French over the years. Doyle makes trips to the Muslim northern provinces of Cameroon to help the development of the Church and give guidance to five national preachers, and he has helped in the establishment of a Center of Biblical Information for French Africa in Benin and Congo. He has also help establish a French Africa office for World Bible School, as well as the Hilton Terry Bible School in the Congo. They helped establish the Church in Albacete, Spain in 2003, and he has preached in Madagascar, Chad, Togo, Central African Republic, Mali, French Guyana, Congo, Gabon, and Benin.

Doyle and Barbara have three children (Mark, David & Bonnie) and eleven grandchildren. Their son, Daniel, passed away in 2002. Doyle’s sister, Barbara Kee, is an member at Prestoncrest Church of Christ.
