Gheorghe TartarchykA co-worker in the Rostov Church is Gheorghe Tartarchyk. His wife of 50 years is Anya. Gheorghe is a retired crane operator and builder of high rise apartment buildings. He handles much of the administrative governmental activities in the areas of taxes, governmental paperwork, official approval and has been instrumental in the privatization and ownership of the current building where the members worship. He oversees the maintenance of the building which enables the ministers to prepare for classes, sermons and visitation.

In 1988, while living in Lithuania, a lady on the street handed Gheroghe his first Bible. He related,”I didn’t just read it, I devoured it”. Later, Gheorghe moved to Rostov to work and in 1993 saw an advertisement indicating Dr. Prentice Meador would be traveling to Rostov to preach. He attended the lectures and discovered Dr. Meador taught about the same New Testament Church which Gheorghe had received study materials from EEM.

Gheorghe’s search was successful. In 1999 his wife Anya was baptized and in 2006, their daughter Tatyana was baptized. Tatyana was recently admitted to the Barnaul School of Biblical Studies in Barnaul, Russia and will continue her education there.
