Paul Lashchenov

Paul came to the U.S.A. from 1994 to 1996 to study the Bible at the Center for Christian Education. He received his degree and returned to his home town to work as the minister with the Christians in Volgograd, where the Church had been planted in 1991. The Church continues to grow as a fellowship of Christians committed to the Word.
Prior to becoming a Christian, Paul earned his medical degree at Volgograd State Medical University in 1977, worked in the area of Fatal Infectious Diseases in the Rostov-on-Don Plague Control Research Institute and received his Ph.D. in Medical Mycology and Microbiology from Saratov University.
Paul now preaches, teaches, and works in the area of pastoral care with a focus on the Christians and those whom they are seeking to teach in the city of Volgograd. He also participates in spreading the Word on a national level through his support of Eastern European Missions.
Paul has an adult daughter, Julia, grand daughter Alexandra and a son Michael.
Paul is assisted by two married women, Irina Volkhonskaya, who works in family counseling and hospital visitation and Stacey Nemkova who works in the Character International Program at Volgograd State Pedagogical University.
