Glynn Langston

Glynn was born in Houston, Texas. As a result of premature birth, Glynn was given too much oxygen, which resulted in total blindness. Glynn’s wife, Ann, was born in San Angelo. They met at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. Following graduation, Glenn and Ann married and moved to Cork County, Ireland, where he and Ann worked as missionaries for 20 years. Their children, Andre and Elise, were both born there. Glynn returns each year to preach, conduct Bible studies, and encourage local Christians.
Upon returning to the United States in 1993, Glynn and Ann settled in Carencro, Louisiana with a plan to bring God’s Word to as many souls as possible. Glynn now directs a ministry targeted to the 120,000,000 blind people in the world. Scriptures are sent in Braille, on CD, cassette tape, and in large print in over 40 languages.
He also develops and sends Bible lessons showing how to study the scriptures, how to obey the Gospel, and reasons for belief. Since 1994, about 275 blind people have become Christians. There are now two blind preachers who work in south India. Working with the Church in Madurai, India, 3- and 4-day Bible camps are held and many hear the Gospel each year. This work continues to reach out to people in India, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Russia, USA, and many other nations.
