About

Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Mark 16:15-16

You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

Acts 1:8

Since the inception of the Prestoncrest congregation in 1973, the congregation has reached out to the souls of the world.

The first mission couple from Prestoncrest was the Allen Huff family who worked in Brazil. Not long after that, the Ron Rice family joined our support as they reached out to the people of Honduras for a number of years. We met Dino and Debbie Roussos in 1982 as they returned to Athens, Greece to minister there with our support. In 1983, Prestoncrest became involved with a ministry to the French speaking countries through Hilton and Wanda Terry. In 1989 as the Berlin Wall came down, the congregation was asked to oversee the Eastern European Appeal to support mission efforts in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. As a result, the congregation supports mission families in those areas, as well.

Today, Prestoncrest’s international outreach extends to every corner of the globe: Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa, Central and South America, Asia, and the Pacific Rim countries.

This website presents a summary of Prestoncrest’s mission involvement. That involvement comes in one of two categories: oversight and partial support. Oversight means that Prestoncrest provides both financial support, as well as spiritual guidance and accountability. Prestoncrest’s elders are directly involved in the direction of the oversight mission efforts. The second category, partial support, means that the guidance of the mission is being overseen by another congregation, so Prestoncrest only provides financial support.

In addition to the international mission efforts, the congregation is involved with programs based here in Dallas. Among these are World Bible School, Revival Dallas, and FriendSpeak.

The Lord has blessed Prestoncrest by allowing us to work with many, many great mission families and their congregations. It is our prayer that many will get to know Jesus through these efforts. Get to know our mission families and mission works. Please pray for the souls they are reaching!
